I’m glad if you liked the lyrics✨ I noticed some mistakes in my English translation, which I’ve just corrected. Generally we can put less words in Japanese, because of that I had to reduce the contents.. Also something I noticed was that in Japanese it sounds smoother if we add particles, rather than constructing a sentence with nouns... anyways I hope I did not deviate too much from your original message😊

wow! This is cool! The meaning is almost the same, with some small differences, but it is nice as well! Thank you! This song had lyrics in Japanese, before I wrote the lyrics in Portuguese. But I didn’t follow the old lyrics to write my own. So now there are 3 lyrics to the same song! I’m sure Marinohashi, who composed this beautiful music, is going to be happy to know! Thank you, Mona! I’m going to work on your Japanese version of my lyrics and record it!

    オンラインで勉強しているんですね。 1年でも、先生に習ったのは、とても良いと思います。 外国語の勉強では、その言葉を使うことが1番大切ですから。 映画が好きなんですね! 日本のテレビドラマやアニメは見たことがありますか? 私の友達は、ドラマやアニメを見て日本語を色々覚えました。 歌って覚えるのもいいですね!

Ola! Gravei sua canção em japonês. https://nana-music.com/sounds/059bba55 (I haven’t opened this recording to other people. It’s a secret recording.) I have given the translation of the Japanese lyric as well, so that you can confirm if it conveys the story that you intended. If any element needs to be changed, please feel free to tell me so😊

otakuproject.comで日本語を勉強し始めました。 その後、一年間、先生と一緒に日本語の授業を受けました。 現在、duolingoを勉強しており、インターネットで日本の映画を見ています。 ミッドナイトディナー東京ストーリーが本当に好きです! マリノハシの助けを借りてここナナでオープニングソングを歌った。sorry for my mistakes! I wrote this with the aid of google translator! So I’m not sure this is right!

Thank you so much for the explanation! I’m very glad I asked you, that the world that you wanted to describe was much deeper and I realized how surfacial I was reading! Actually it is sort of my hobby to translate songs into Japanese, and every time I do, I try the best possible to find some explanation given by the composer/poets. Sometimes it is too complicated that I can hardly understand, for example, I’m not at all clear with the lyrics of “Linda Rosa” by Maria Gary :D I’ve got some idea on the story now :) As the words won’t fit in Japanese, I shall now first translate your poem as such and then digest into a shorter lyrics in Japanese. Let’s see.. 日本語を1人で勉強していますか。 すごいですね! ぜひ日本語で話しましょう。 どんな本やwebsiteで勉強していますか?

さん、コメントはありがとうございました!私の日本語のレブルは、I don’t know! Monaさん日本語教えますですね。すごい!私は日本語が一人で勉強してる。 help me correct my mistakesおねがいします! The lyrics of À Beira Mar (By the sea) talk about someone in love with someone else who left for an other country. The one who stayed back keeps hoping that the other person will return, but these are all illusions. So I used Portuguese and English as a way of playing with words, but it could also mean that the loved one is from a different country, where Portuguese is not the main idiom. When I say “é uma tradução do meu olhar” I mean that what I believe is just my way of interpreting the facts around me. So, I tend to believe that the sky, the see, the wind, are telling me that my love will return, but this is just my “translation” of facts, my interpretation, my expectations. When I say that the other one is a “lagoon, river, water, sea” and that I am “stone, sand and salt” I mean, the other one is unpredictable, fluid, easily changing idea, like water, and that I am constant, deeper in my feelings, and so I sink (eu afundo) in the water, like a stone would sink in the sea. I know that this is a little hard to understand! It is maybe too subjective! Please, feel free to create Japanese lyrics! Thank you very much for all your questions! This is very interesting to know how well you get these lyrics! I wrote a translation to English, after the lyrics in Portuguese, so that you could understand what I mean! 読みてください! Mona さん、また、コメントをする、お願いします!🌷
