I just turned 18 not to long ago. I tell ya ya stick with that banjo it’s fun to play. My uncle plays banjo like a second Earl Scruggs lol but i tell ya someone who helps me learn is Banjo Ben on YouTube

Cool! And dang, I'm jealous. I didn't really discover that I liked music until I was 10 or 11, I'm 17 now. Plus I don't have anybody to play with in my family. Banjo is more challenging than some but stick with it, your doing great. It's the 2nd funnest instrument I've started to learn.

Hard to judge myself but i have written songs (actually 2 ) that other very talented artist play. But as a musician, face it I suck. Not trying to be an ass as I might come across as.
