^There’s a group devoted to finding out where each of these pictures is set, but I don’t know myself. But I’d like to know…
Requested by: rofflwaffls (ol’ friend ;P)
Sorry this took so long, my laziness and turkey holidays got in the way D:
This is from a new group 幽閉サテライト (Yuuhei Satellite / “Recluse Satellite”), and this is the titular track of their first full album!! I just listened to it today based on recommendation and request and I have to say I love it already. ^_^
This song is losing someone you love, then being saved by someone else, who could and would never return the kind of love now redirected at him. I pictured a monk, but I guess a god/youkai works too? So, this song is wonderful, and powerful, and wonderfully and powerfully melancholic.
Also, because I haven’t mentioned it here yet: THANK YOU FOR 100,000 views!!! :D I feel like I need to draw a big thank you picture even though I’m not much of an artist. ;orz For now, I’ll just borrow others’ beautiful works as usual. I love shinta for his Renko/Merry collection, and sakuma’s a watercolor specialist, and I love watercolor… anyway.
Notes on the title:
The song title is a poetic line in Japanese, and thus the translation of it is long: “Though One May Experience Such Fragrant Color, Alas For When This Moment Will Have Since Dispersed”. In full, the title means: “Though (the colors now about me are so vibrant) I can smell their very color, I lament of the the time when they will be already gone (for this scene will not last forever).” The last few syllables show a sadness towards it disappearing in the same sense as “one day I woke up and it had already passed away” (without even saying goodbye).
